SDO(Stamdard Development Organization)コラボレーション

FieldComm Group, ODVA, OPC Foundation, PI North AmericaによるSDO
が9月にアメリカ テキサス州ヒューストンで2つのイベントを共催しました。

4団体によるプレゼンにより様々な関連トピックが紹介されました。



〇Business Value for Ethernet-APL (ODVA)
〇Case Studies and Installations (PI North America)
〇Planning & Installation (FieldComm Group)
〇High Speed Throughput (OPC Foundation)

サイバーセキュリティについては
Homeland Security’s CybersecurityのUSA部門の代表者と
Infrastructure Security Agencyの代表者によるプレゼンテーションが
行われました。インフラのデザインによるセキュア対応についてです。

イベントで明確になったことはEthernet-APLテクノロジーに投資するのであれば
PROFINETは良い選択肢になることです。DCS, デバイス、フィールドスイッチは
PROFINET対応製品がベンダーから紹介されました。

Time and time again, the interactions drifted away from Ethernet-APL as a physical layer, and more into what could be achieved with it.
